Things To Do With Kids In Los Angeles

Los Angeles is a definite wonderland for kids. There are so many things that will hold their interest that they will just not want to come out the city. Well, you have been warned!

Los Angeles has all the major movie studios. Take the kids out to tours to these studios. Paramount and Warner Bros. tours are favorites with the children because these studios come out with many kids’ movies. You could also take the family out to the Universal Studios Hollywood tour and the kids are veritably going to enjoy that one!

The most wonderful attraction for kids would be LEGOLAND, which should certainly a prominent part of your itinerary. It is actually located to the south of Los Angeles in the San Diego County. Yes, this is the theme park built by the same guys who own the Lego brand of toys. Kids are going to go crazy here with the more than fifty rides and the various shows and attractions that the place holds. Actually, it is a fun place for the entire family.

Another interesting attraction would be the Spokes n’ Stuff in Griffith Park where kids can take bikes on rent and go cycling around the area. In fact, the whole family can use these bikes and visit some of the prominent tourist attractions, making for a low budget holiday for the family!

For the scientifically inclined kids, there is the Discovery Science Center which has a lot of interactive models and simulations to keep the kids engrossed. There are more than 120 exhibits which the kids can really enjoy. Another museum that is meant for children is the Zimmer Children’s Museum.

Don’t forget the Knott’s Berry Farm too. With over 165 rides, it is definite to captivate the attention of your children. When you have children with you, the Aquarium of the Pacific also becomes a must-visit destination for your family.
