Jeremy Berlin Announced Chef of Church & State

17 September 2010 One Comment

It’s been more than six months since Walter Manzke left Church & State. And it’s taken this long for the restaurant’s owner, Yassmin Sarmadi, to find a permanent replacement. Which they have, in New York chef Jeremy Berlin, who’s cooked under Philippe Bertineau at Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro, Eric Ripert at Le Bernardin, Cyril Renaud at Fleur de Sel and Gordon Ramsay at Gordon Ramsay at the London in NYC – which he followed with a stint at Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood. Says Sarmadi of her new hire: “Jeremy is able to throw all of his experience and talent into a pan and create a beautifully delicious experience for his diners!”
